Have you taken advantage of this special offer? You won't be disappointed!!
***** NEWS FLASH SPECIAL OFFER FOR JULY 7th through AUGUST 7th******
Welcome to Greta and a wonderful colourful journey through decorations, gifts, and a great deal of modern art. I became addicted because colour turns me in to a magpie and so over the last year I have made many items and have had so much joy making them and listening to the compliments. Her ball decorations are second to none and will become family heirlooms for the Christmas tree and decorating. I hope you have as much pleasure from her patterns as I have. If you have anything that needs clarification (I doubt it though) you can message Greta or contact me. So without further ado let me introduce Greta ....
Hello my name is Greta Tulner, I am based in the Netherlands and share my inspiration for the detailed, colorful crochet pieces in my Etsy shop. As a token discount I would like to offer 1 free pdf pattern, the Christmasball, for every person buying two pdf patterns in my shop. Please use the code CROCHETIIT at the checkout. This is an exclusive offer for Crochet It members and visitors.
This is the link to my Etsy shop, ATERGcrochet.Etsy.com.
If you put some beautiful colored yarns, fabrics or beads in front of me I’ll always be excited by the prospect of making something with it.
I learned to crochet when I was a young girl along with other crafts like knitting and sewing from the detailed crafts of my mother Siepie. Then I discovered spinning and dying yarns, felting wool, weaving my own fabrics, painting silk, making jewellery of beads, making clay beads and turning glass beads in the flame.
Living abroad for a few years, following my husband, made me quit my office job (hooray!) and gave me time to explore. On CuraƧao I worked a lot on my loom to sell on different fairs.
I also discovered an awesome bead shop learning to make jewellery and gave some workshops with my sister once returned in the Netherlands. Then we went to Paris where I met the Dutch Ghislaine looking for a designer in children cloths for her shop in Paris. Such a wonderful time! I also met Teuny with her interior shop in Dourdan where I sold my glassbeads and a lot of my crochet work.
Via via I discovered Etsy and decided to open a shop selling my readymade crochet work. From that moment all went super quick. A lot of shop visitors asked me if I would like to share my patterns and ............... I took a deep dive. I had never worked out my patterns in a tutorial or even had any experience with the international crochet terms.
Luckely all worked out very well, my passion became my daily job!!!
There is never a day without crochet, I inspire you and you inspire me!
BIG crochet hug, Greta
